Dexerdry is a durable thermoplastic insert designed to fit between grooved deck boards, creating a watertight seal that protects the area beneath your deck from moisture. This innovative system ships as a flexible insert on a roll.
Once installed, it allows you to enjoy a dry, sheltered space below, making it ideal for elevated decks and outdoor living areas.
DECKORATORS VAULT AND VOYAGE: Decking must be purchased within the last 6 months for it to be compatible with Dexerdry.
--Installation Requirements: Dexerdry requires sealant, a board-tightening tool, and other accessories for proper installation (refer to instructions/videos for details).
--Decking Compatibility: Deck board grooves vary in size, so it's essential to select the correct Dexerdry profile that matches your decking for a secure fit and optimal performance.

Blue Claw Compression Tool
The Blue Claw tool was designed specifically to install Dexerdry, and is the most effective compression tool for this. It's used to compress and seal the Dexerdry strip by squeezing the unfastened deck board into the already installed boards. (See videos below).

Groove Router Bits
Router bits used to cut a Dexerdry groove into a frieze board (at the house) or a square-edged border board. For best fit, use an already-grooved piece of the decking you're installing to help set your router.

Tiger Claw Groove Router Bit
Router bit that will cut a groove of the same width as Fiberon, Deckorators, Wolf, Trex, and Clubhouse boards. NOTE: both the placement and depth of the groove on the board's edge vary between the brands. Use a piece of the decking you'll be installing with to help place the bit in your router before cutting the groove.
