Tiger Claw Groove Router Bit

Cuts a 5/32″ wide groove 3/8″ into deck board edge. Allows for the use of Tiger Claw hidden fasteners on almost all deck boards, like composites, PVC, Ipe, Tigerwood, cedar, and treated decking.

NOTE: different wood/plastic decking manufacturers have different groove placements, ensure that the groove you’re cutting matches your existing grooved boards, and works with the fasteners you’re using.

This bit will cut a nearly factory-sized groove in:

Fiberon Paramount PVC

Deckorators Surestone boards (Vault, Voyage, Frontier)

Trex decking (all)

It will also cut a slightly deeper-than-factory groove in Deckorators wood-plastic composite boards, suitable for Dexerdry installation.
