Deckorators Posts for ALX Cable Railing

Designed specifically for use with Deckorators' horizontal cable railing, these 2-1/2" posts feature pre-drilled holes, making them ideal for faster installation. The 10-hole posts are designed for 36" residential-height railings. 

End posts have holes drilled larger to hold the fittings.

Intermediate posts have holes on opposite sides for running cables straight through the post.

Corner posts have holes on adjacent sides, so that the cables can run through the post. 

Bottom-of-stair posts have holes drilled like an end post, but the height of the post is taller, so that it can be trimmed to match the height of the top rail. 

with end posts featuring larger holes to allow fittings to recess, while intermediate and corner posts have smaller holes for threading the cables. 

Top-of-stair posts have holes drilled in one side, much like an intermediate post. The pre-drilled holes will match up with the next post on the level area, so if your holes at the top of the stair need to have the height adjusted or the orientation changed, you can drill to accommodate for that. Also included with a top of stair post is a corner brace, as well as a drilling template to line up the stair-side holes as needed (see photos).
