• Cypress

Azek Cypress is currently available, but production was on and off between 2019 and 2023, due to the COVID disruptions and the release of the Landmark and Reserve collections.

  • Island Oak and Autumn Chestnut

Two very popular colors that got tossed around a bit, these dark gray and unique light brown colors started off in the Harvest collection since they had the same texturing. They were considered "Harvest Plus", until they got promoted to the Arbor collection, and were then discontinued in 2019 with the release of the Landmark collection.

  • Arbor Collection

Brazilian Walnut and Mountain Redwood were a part of Timbertech's XLM colors, and were converted to PVC and folded into the Arbor collection when Azek and Timbertech merged. Acacia and Morado lasted until Landmark came out in 2019, but Hazelwood and Silver Oak were discontinued in 2018.

  • Terra Collection

The Terra collection was an "upgraded" version of Harvest, with similar colors and texture, but with the grain pattern having a black coloring filling in the grain. Tahoe was similar in its base tone to Slate Gray, and Sedona was similar to Fawn and Autumn Chestnut.

  • Horizon collection

Tudor Brown and Rosewood were both discontinued from the Concordia-Horizon collection in 2023

  • Chestnut (Protect collection)

    Discontinued in 2021

  • Cinnabar (Symmetry collection)

    Discontinued in 2023

  • Updated Terrain Collection

The Terrain collection was revamped in 2024 to include a shallower scallop that allowed for Cortex plugs, and now includes Weathered Oak (gray), Dark Oak (brown), and Natural White Oak (gold) colors. As of 2025, the old Terrain is slowly being phased out, with solid colors nearly unavailable, and the streaked colors soon to follow.

  • Sapele - Legacy Collection

In 2019, Timbertech added Sapele (a warmer brown) to their extensive lineup of browns in the Legacy collection.

They already had a golden brown (Tigerwood), a light brown (Pecan), a medium brown (Mocha), and a very dark brown (Espresso), so Sapele didn't get much of a foothold and was discontinued within a year.

  • Storm Gray - Reserve collection

Storm Gray was released in 2019 along with the other initial Reserve colors, which included Antique Leather, Driftwood, and Dark Roast. Storm Gray and Driftwood were meant to be a cool gray and warm gray option respectively, but were very hard to distinguish, and Storm Gray was dropped within a year.

  • Timbertech Edge Premier

Tidal Sand and Beachwood Gray were released as two of the four original Edge Premier colors. These solid tan and light gray colors complimented Dark Teak and Maritime Gray well for a more full collection, but they were discontinued in 2021.

  • Tropical collection

Amazon Mist, Antigua Gold, Antique Palm, and Caribbean Redwood were colors available from Timbertech between 2014 and 2019. The Tropical collection was replaced by Reserve, which has the same texture but much more realistic color variation and streaking pattern.

  • The Original Terrain Collection

Terrain originally included three solid colors and two variegated colors that existed before Timbertech and Azek merged in 2014. Sandy Birch, Rustic Elm, and Stone Ash were the original tan, brown, and gray solid colors, with Silver Maple and Brown Oak as variegated options.

  • Trex Select

Trex Select has been a solid budget board on the market for over a decade, but was slimmed down to just two colors in 2023. Madeira, Winchester Gray, and Woodland Brown were removed, but Pebble Gray and Saddle are still available and in production.

  • Trex Transcend

In 2023, Trex took a few colors out of the Earth Tones and Tropical families of Transcend to make way for the Lineage and Signature lines. Gravel Path, Tree House, and Vintage Lantern were removed from the Earth tones line up, leaving only Rope Swing. Fire Pit was removed from the Tropical collection some time earlier due to low popularity and similar browns being available.

  • Trex Transcend Texture Change

Around 2019, Trex made a rolling change to their Transcend board texture, from a deep, dramatic soodgrain to a shallower, more speckled texture similar to the Enhance boards.

  • Sunset Cove

The Trex Enhance Naturals collection was originally released with Sunset Cove as its red-brown color, but was discontinued within a year. In 2025, Cinnamon Cove was released, also as a reddish brown in the same line, but it's hard to say whether it is an identical or modified replacement color.
