Azek Harvest PVC Decking

  • The Harvest collection is Azek's entry-level PVC decking, designed as an option ideal for those that want the performance of PVC but can compromise on appearance.
  • Deck boards are full-profile, with 1"x5-1/2" grooved boards, 1"x5-1/2" non-grooved boards, and 1"x7-1/4" non-grooved boards.

Azek Decking Fasteners

  • Non-grooved Azek decking boards can be secured with Cortex screws and plugs, trim head screws, Toploc stainless steel decking screws, or Sideloc stainless steel edge screws.

  • Grooved Azek deck boards can be installed with Concealoc clips, Fusionloc clips, Camo Edge Clips, or Camo Wedge clips. If working with the first or last grooved board in a layout, Cortex screws are recommended because clips won't work unless it's installed between two grooved boards.

  • When joists are installed 16" on center, multiply the linear footage of the decking by 1.5 to get the quantity of screws needed, or multiply the linear footage by 0.75 to get the number of hidden clips needed.

Azek Harvest PVC Fascia and Fasteners

  • Fascia boards are a wider, thinner non-structural board used to cover deck framing, and are typically fastened with a trim head fascia screw, and fastened with 1-5/8" Toploc or trim head screws.
  • For 12" wide fascia, fascia screws should be installed with 3 screws every 12"
  • To figure the number of fascia screws needed for fascia, multiple the linear footage of fascia by 3
  • For risers, a fascia piece is typically cut down to about 7-1/2" to fit the riser dimensions. Screws should be installed with 2 screws at every point where the riser and stringer cross.
