Screw-And-Plug Fasteners

One of the ways of getting a clean looking deck surface with the stability of a face screw, a specific kind of screw and bit can be used so that a plug can be inserted to cover the screw head. Both PVC and composite decking will use a composite-type screw, to create a cleaner hole for the plug to be inserted into. A special driving bit is included for driving the screw to the correct depth, which makes enough room above the screw for the plug, but leaves the screw holding enough material for it to have a good hold on the deck board.
